The "Research Methodology" course is designed to equip students with the foundational skills needed to conduct rigorous and systematic research. It begins with an exploration of what research methodology is, highlighting its importance in the research process. The course covers different types of research methodologies, including qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods approaches, providing students with the tools to select and apply the most appropriate methods for their studies.
Students will learn about identifying research gaps, a critical skill for finding unique contributions to their field. The course introduces the concept of "Golden Threads," which are themes or arguments that connect various elements of research coherently. Further, it covers both qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques, ensuring students can handle diverse data types. Sampling techniques, an essential aspect of conducting representative research, are also thoroughly discussed.
By the end of this course, students will be able to design research projects, analyze data, and draw meaningful conclusions, contributing valuable insights to their field of study.
